Screening and discussion of the film "Freedom Writers"
On May 8, 2019, at the initiative of the Young Pedagogues Union, Hotel Castello Mare was screened and discussed the film "Freedom Writers", where teachers and parents of the organization's partner schools took part.
The film is about an English-language teacher who knows exactly what the students want and what they want to achieve, she has the motivation and plan for future activities. The story isn’t only about an amazingly dedicated young teacher who took on two extra jobs to buy supplies for her students; it’s also, emphatically, about some extraordinary young people and role models for other teachers. She proves how important the teacher is in the process of personal formation of youth. She is well aware that if she does not create an emotionally comfortable and calm environment, it will be unnecessary to talk about the success of educational goals.
The main purpose of the film's showing was to clarify how much of the contribution is needed for the upbringing of adults as a successful individual.
The film was screened in the framework of the project "Civic Engagement for Positive Changes", Donor Organization Bread for the World.
