International Day of Literacy

On April 23, 2019, by the initiative of Chokhatauri Leadership school members celebrated International Day of Literacy. The first part of the event was dedicated to the ceremony of donating the books among school members; the second part was fully devoted to literature.

Literary aware Nana Mgaloblishvili and former members of Leadership School reviewed both Georgian and foreign writers. They talked about Otar Chiladze's work "on the road", Jemal Karchkhadze's "Stuvermur" and Albert Camus's "Utskos". All three works are exposed to existentialist ideas and it is interesting how the author's interpretations of life are presented. The novel "Foreign" belongs to Albert Camus "Absurd Cycle" and is one of the most famous ones, because the protagonist does not obey the publicly accepted moral principles and lives from other angles.

The organizers of the meeting were students of the Leadership School themselves, which was an interesting experience for them. Attendees of the audience expressed their desire to arrange similar meetings often, because it will further enhance interpersonal communication.
