In January 27-28, 2018 at the office of Young Pedagogues’ Union within the project ,,Opportunities to overcome bullying (SCOPE) there was held thematic school meetings for groups of parents and children. The participants attended presentation of the research,,Bullying and its forms in schools of Ozurgeti Municipality’’ implemented within the project and discussed problems identified within the study. Specifically,safe school and its challenges. Role of parents, children and teachers in identification of bullying and overcoming it, stereotypes connected with the topic. At the meeting there were discussed conclusions made within the research, and recommendations were drawn for public schools. In the second part of the meeting there was held film screening ,,Cool kids don’t cry’’. With use of specific parts of the film there was held a discussion about meaning of bullying, its forms, sharpness and solving strategies. Parents and teachers expressed different opinions regarding bulliny, which made discussion more interesting and impressive. There was also held a seminar ,,Legal analysis – bullying and legislation’’. Parents and children were provided with the information about legislative evaluation of bullying, its prevention and identification of legal responsibility in Georgian legislation. At the seminar participants focused on the main aspects on which Georgian legislation is based on. Specifically: Georgian Constitution, Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Convention on the Rights of the Child, Georgian law on General education, Criminal Code of Georgia, Administrative Offences Code of Georgia, #437 Approval of the Child Protection Referral Procedures of 12th of Septeber, 2016, Professional Ethic Code of Teachers approved in 14th of June, 2010, order N57/N. #167/N order, 30th December, 2014 of Minister of Education and Science of Georgia on approval of the disciplinary procedure of teachers. The summary activity of the meeting was session: How to become peer-educators. At the session there were discussed the following topics: ability to share acquired knowledge and skills in practice, strategies of group selection and management. Holding of effective meetings; Seminars for parents and children in partner schools will be continue from February, 2018.
