On January 24, 2021, on the occasion of the International Education Day, members of the Youth Center of the Young Pedagogues Union read fairy tales to the children of the Ozurgeti Municipality Preschool.
The purpose of the meeting was to identify stereotypical gender functions and characteristics in different stories and everyday life. Discuss traditional and non-traditional gender functions. Promoting gender equality.
The members of the center offered new versions of fairy tales to the children, discussed gender roles, spoke in understandable terms about the idea of equality and the expectations of the environment.
The meeting was attended by kindergarten children, as well as managers and parents.
