Online training
On May 24-25, 2021, Liza Sofromadze, an invited expert on self-government issues, conducted an online training for a group of young people on participatory budgeting.
During the training, young people were informed about the levels of participation and cooperation, key characteristics of good governance, participatory budgeting goals and basic parameters, accountability, inclusion mechanisms and budget transparency.
Young people better understand the process and importance of participation through role-playing games and practical examples.
Training was held on “Civil Society of Guria, Imereti and Racha-LechkhumiCommon Forum of Organizations for Monitoring the Governance Roadmap ”project, supported by the European Union.
