Public School Self-Assessment
On November 30 and December 1 in the office of ,,Young Pedagogues Union” was held a training on “Public School Self-Assessment” for the partner schools of the Ozurgeti Municipality (Shemokmedi, Nasakirali, Shroma, Laitur, Nagomari) and the Lanchkhruti municipality (Khajalia).
The purpose of the training was to provide theoretical information on self-assessment to the representatives of partner schools and to develop the skills needed to carry out the assessment process.
The sessions focused on the following issues: What is self-esteem? Why is it important to introduce a culture of self-esteem at school? What is the international experience in this area? What is the effective research methodology in the process of self-assessment, research ethics and more?
Based on the information they received at the end of the training, a work plan for the self-assessment process was defined. Representatives of these schools will prepare a self-assessment document for their school.
