On April 9, 2021, a seminar was held for students of the Young Pedagogues Union Leadership School on gender issues in the law on gender-sensitive budgeting and general education.
The seminar discussed the consideration of gender needs in the budgeting process. Also, the difference between an equal distribution of the budget and the appropriate distribution of needs.
The second part of the session focused on the issues of compliance with the law on general education and gender needs. Attention was focused on the existing mechanisms in the education system to eliminate gender-based violence and promote equality.
Adults were actively involved in the process. They cited examples from personal experience. They discussed the importance of addressing the different needs of women and men in the process of establishing gender equality.
The meeting was chaired by lawyer / trainer Nino Loladze.
