"Social Entrepreneurship and Corporate Social Responsibility"

On November 18, 2019, ”Young Pedagogues Union” Youth Center members affiliated within the framework of the UN Small grants Program, they implemented a project on "Social Entrepreneurship and Corporate Social Responsibility".
The project consisted of two parts: the first part was held in the space of literary cafe "Rvas +1", where the founder of the cafe talked to the youth about the idea of ​​creating a social enterprise and what challenges exist in this area.
Corporate Social Responsibility Definition and Responsible Businesses in Georgia talked about the invited expert in the field Tako Rodonaia, who explained to the audience on the basis of specific cases what it means to be a responsible business, what European countries experience in this field and how important corporate social Responsible for the development of the country.
At the final stage of the project, the Youth Center members held a workshop on How to Strengthen Social Enterprises Together.
The meeting was special as the members of Ozurgeti Youth Center invited representatives of Zugdidi, Kutaisi and Gardabani Youth Centers to apply the theoretical and practical experience gained in their region.
The invited guests were founders of social enterprise as well as representatives of private businesses and local councils.
The meeting was organized through the program PITA which is implemented by UNAG with the financial support of USAID. Young Pedagogues’ Union serves as a partner to the program.
