On the initiative of the students of the School of Leaders at the base of the organization, a week of trainings by peers was organized independently.
From June 15 to June 21, 2020, members of the Tbilisi and Ozurgeti branches of the School of Leaders held an informational and educational training course on the topic - physical and psychological safety of children. The topic was selected according to the school syllabus and the week was a kind of summary of the year.
During the week, trainings were conducted on the following topics:
Stages and obligations of the Convention on the Rights of the Child;
The role and commitment of educational institutions in adolescent safety;
Liability of law enforcement in child safety;
Healthy lifestyle and its promotion in adults;
Scalability and self-defense;
Psychological safety of children.
The animations of the Young Teachers' Union and UNICEF were used as the main resources during the training.
15 participants participated in the week. The meetings were interactive and the adults had the opportunity to get answers to all their questions. It is also important that online certificates of participation are issued.
