The training "Constitution and Constitutionalism"

On May 9, 2019, for the "Young Pedagogues’ Union’s" Leaders’ School members was organized the training "Constitution and Constitutionalism", which was held by lawyer, constitutionalist Vakhtang Natsvlishvili. 

The attending adults received information on what the Supreme Law meant and the historical examples of the Constitution adopted in different countries were discussed. Attention was focused on the circumstances that the Constitution is a document adopted on behalf of the people. The preamble of the Constitution of Georgia was reviewed.

The teenagers discussed the different functions of the Constitution: social policy, management and control, peace and integration, and conflicts. The talk was about the forms of governance, the distribution of power.

There were discussed Human rights in detail. Discussion was held on four liberty theories: about the freedom of expression, freedom of religion, liberty and hardship, freedom of war and fear. Based on the received information, the adults formed task groups. They were discussing the decisions taken on different situations.
