Charity event
On September 6, 2019, a charity event was organized for the lonely elderly woman living in the village of Shroma, by the members of the “Young Pedagogues’ Union” Youth Center.
The event aimed to alleviate the daily chores for a single woman through the help of youth.
As part of the action, members of the center collected household items and food items and jointly donated them to the elderly.
The house and the surrounding area were also cleaned.
These kinds of activities increase social responsibility in young people and help them learn new skills.
The charity event was organized through the program PITA which is implemented by UNAG with the financial support of USAID. Young Pedagogues’ Union serves as a partner to the program.
