Promoting the socialization of the elderly living in a tolerant and diverse environment and integrating them into society

Today, a joint event of the Youth Center of the Union of Young Teachers and the School of Leaders was held at the Anaseuli Elderly Home.

The main goal of the event was to promote the socialization of the elderly living in a tolerant and diverse environment and to integrate them into society.

Tolerance and diversity are one of the key issues for the organization and it carries out numerous events in this direction together with young people.

The first part of the meeting was dedicated to the presentation of the video clip prepared by the young people, after which the audience had the opportunity to taste the traditional dishes prepared by the elderly and young people together.

The event was attended by representatives of local self-government, partner schools, social services, private business and the Anaseuli community.

The event was a charity event and the money raised was donated to a nursing home.

The meeting is organized within the framework of the Tolerance, Civic Awareness and Integration Support Program [PITA], implemented by the United Nations Association of Georgia (UNAG) with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The meeting was part of the project "Civic Involvement for Positive Change", a donor organization for the world.
