"Women's Empowerment for Inclusion"

From May 28 to June 1, 2021, in the framework of the project "Women's Empowerment for Inclusion", a training of youth trainers was organized by the Union of Young Teachers on the topic: Gender stereotypes and roles.
✔️ Representatives of Guria, Imereti, Racha and Kakheti regions attended the trainings, who will be able to hold meetings for youth groups living in their community.
✔️ The 5-day course covered the following issues: gender roles and stereotypes, unequal pay, gender equality and gender-based violence, premature marriage and the needs of people with disabilities in terms of gender. The last 2 days of the training were about developing facilitation skills.
On the last day of the training, the participants had the opportunity to apply the information and skills in practice - they presented a training model on a specific gender issue and were the facilitators of the process.
The training was attended by 15 participants who were awarded a certificate of completion of the course.
